Investigated the effect of melatonin treatment on protein expression in zebrafish during day and night cycles to reveal the molecular underpinnings of melatonin's effects on sleep behavior and circadian rhythms.

• Designed and executed a full time-resolved proteomic analysis experiment with 1,800 zebrafish larvae
• Raised larvae, labeled and chemically enriched newly synthesized proteins using functionalized agarose beads
• Administered melatonin treatment during 12-hour day/night windows with control groups
• Extracted proteins, performed enzymatic digestion, and prepared samples for liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry analysis
